Hello. I’m Barbara — founder of CUBE Design, Ireland’s first certified Brand Architect, and unapologetic champion of bold businesses with big ideas and even bigger purpose.
I didn’t start with strategy. I started with logos — clean, clever, good-looking design. But I couldn’t ignore the questions no one else seemed to ask: Why this? Who’s it for? What story are we telling — and is anyone actually listening?
Then came the book that flipped the switch: The Brand Gap by Marty Neumeier. That single spark led me to train directly with the man himself — the same mind who taught Steve Jobs about brand. I didn’t just read the book, I did all the training and I became part of the story, part of a global community of Level C Branders. That journey made me Ireland’s first Level C Certified Brand Architect.
Today, I help brands go beyond the surface. I fuse creative design with strategic depth, systems thinking, and sustainability smarts to help businesses stop firefighting and start brand-building with purpose. Because a logo might turn heads — but a strategic brand moves hearts and minds. And that’s where the real impact begins.
With over 35 years in design, I’ve watched the industry evolve — and I evolved with it. I don’t just make brands look good. I help them think better, feel more human, and stand for something meaningful that goes beyond money.
Alongside my Level C creds, I hold a master’s level certification in Sustainable Design. That ethos runs deep in everything I create, human centred, planet conscious, and unapologetically future facing.
