Hi, I’m Barbara and I don’t do surface-level.

I’m the Founder of CUBE Design, and Ireland’s first fully certified Level C Brander. For 35+ years I’ve been bridging art, design, and strategy, not as separate disciplines, but as one force.

Level C is the highest international standard in brand strategy. It’s also a global community of brand leaders who don’t settle for easy answers. I’m always in that room, debating, challenging, and pushing what brand can and should do. I’ve made many friends at Level C, and one in particular has led to a close collaboration with my fellow Level C brand architect, Meg, who is based in the US.

My work is grounded in something most brand designers skip, human behaviour, and the subconscious signals your brand sends before a single word is read. It’s the gut feeling that makes someone choose you, or scroll past. That’s the territory I work in.

I hold a Masters-level certification in Sustainable Design, because brands that last are built with conscience, not just confidence. And for six consecutive years, I’ve been recognised as a Business All Star by the All Ireland Business Foundation, a peer-reviewed accreditation built on customer centricity and trust. Somewhere along the way, I ended up published in Branders Magazine. Still a bit surreal, if I’m honest.

When I’m not deep in a founder’s brand, you’ll find me painting, watching Dublin play Gaelic Football (GAA) or spending time in France reminding myself what stillness feels like.
